Waselius secured merger control approval by the European Commission for the acquisition by Hedin Automotive Oy, a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group AB (publ), of all shares in Delta Auto Oy as well as the operative business of Delta Motor Group Oy. The transaction was approved without conditions in Phase 1.
Through the acquisition, Hedin Automotive continues its growth strategy in Finland and expands its presence to a truly nationwide dealer network from Helsinki to Oulu. Delta Auto represents nine brands of which Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, Kia, Maxus and Mitsubishi are now added to Hedin Automotive’s portfolio in Finland for the first time. Employing 315 people across 13 dealerships in 12 cities, Delta Auto sells approx. 13,000 cars annually, with revenues of MEUR 322 in 2022.
