Waselius advises Pliant as it becomes the first digital card provider offering credit lines in all 30 countries across the European Economic Area (EEA) in 11 different currencies, including USD, GBP, and CHF. A new partnership with the Vereinigte Volksbank Raiffeisenbank eG (VVRB) strengthens Pliant’s financial position, increasing its total capacity for providing credit lines to a total of 200 million Euro. The new strategic partnership with VVRB enables Pliant to offer credit lines in all EEA currencies, as well as in US dollars, British pounds, and Swiss francs, across all 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA), which in turn allows Pliant customers to bill in the same currency in which their transactions are settled – a valuable advantage for companies working with significant volumes in non-euro currencies.
Last year, Pliant successfully passported its Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license to all countries across the European Economic Area (EEA). This achievement allows Pliant to offer credit lines and additional financial products tailored to the specific regional needs of customers throughout Europe. With this milestone, Pliant positions itself as a fully regulated, independent payment institution capable of meeting the diverse needs of various industries.
