Henri Kaskimo has been appointed Specialist Partner as of 1 January 2021 and will head the firm’s real estate team.
Henri’s practice focuses on advising both domestic and international real estate investors and developers on a broad range of commercial property matters that may arise during the life of a real estate transaction or project from strategic guidance, land use, letting arrangements and financings to the acquisition or disposal.
Henri joined Waselius at the beginning of his career in 2012. Although he was with another Finnish law firm for a few years before returning to the firm, Henri is an example of a homegrown talent and a testament to the firm’s commitment to investing in its people.
Henri has actively and vigorously contributed time and effort into growing the firm’s real estate practice and will surely be one of the firm’s driving forces within this field in the future.
Henri’s appointment is a part of the firm’s wider growth strategy in real assets, broadening and elevating the firm’s capacity and service offering in these fields.
