Waselius represented Oy Essity Finland Ab in the negotiations concerning a joint project with Nokian Vesi Oy, the municipal water and sewage company of the City of Nokia, for the construction of a new state of the art waste water treatment plant. The project includes the sale of a plot of real estate owned by Essity to Nokian Vesi, on which real estate the new waste water treatment plant will be built. The new waste water treatment plant will serve both the City of Nokia and Essity’s soft paper mill in Nokia. The cost for the new waste water treatment plant is expected to rise to some EUR 25,000,000 and it will further reduce emissions of Essity’s soft paper mill. The new waste water treatment plant is expected to be ready for operation in 2023.
