Waselius advised Public Property Invest ASA (PPI) on its acquisition of two adjacent healthcare and community service properties located in Finland. The properties, which are fully leased to public and private sector tenants, are situated in a growing regional hub of Tikkurila in the Greater Helsinki area and serve essential healthcare and social service functions. The properties were built in 2019 and 2021 and have a total lettable area of approximately 13,250 sq m. One of the properties is a hospital being fully let to Mehiläinen. The other property is a fully let multi-tenant building with the City of Vantaa, Forenom, Nordea, Terveystalo and Kesko as the largest tenants.
The total value of the transaction was EUR 63 million.
The acquisition aligns with PPI’s strategy of expanding its portfolio of socially beneficial properties across the Nordics, with a focus on long-term, stable cash flows and public sector tenancy. The transaction strengthens PPI’s presence in Finland and supports its mission to be a leading owner of community service properties in the region.
Waselius provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of the acquisition documentation.
This deal highlights Waselius Attorneys’ continued role as a trusted legal partner in cross-border real estate transactions involving institutional investors and public-use assets.
